White Castle, the Ohio-based hamburger chain famous for its sliders, is set to open its first Texas location.
During a press conference on Thursday, White Castle announced plans to launch a new restaurant at Grandscape in The Colony. Known for its square sliders and steamed onions, the new outlet is expected to open in summer 2026.
While primarily established in the Midwest, with only a handful of locations in Florida and Arizona, this will be only the seventh White Castle outside the Midwest, marking its first foray into Texas.
Founded in 1921 in Wichita, Kansas by Walt Anderson and Billy Ingram, a former insurance salesman, White Castle has become an iconic fast-food chain.
