BigXthaPlug Arrested in Texas on Release Day of ‘I Hope You’re Happy’ Album

The nation’s beloved rapper, BigXthaPlug, dropped his highly-anticipated album *I Hope You’re Happy* on Friday.

27-year-old Xavier Landum, widely known as BigXthaPlug, was arrested on Thursday in the 7900 block of Great Trinity Forest Way on charges of possession of less than two ounces of marijuana and unlawful possession of a firearm. He was booked into Dallas County Jail around 2:20 a.m. Friday, coinciding with the album’s release.

BigX also collaborated with Jelly Roll, who shared on social media, “‘BOX ME UP’ with my guy @bigxthaplug is OUT NOW BUBBBAAAAAA.”

Later that day, Landum was released on a $5,000 bond. Following his release, BigXthaPlug commented, “I Hope You’re Happy is out now,” promoting his new album.
