An officer-involved shooting occurred in Aurora following a traffic crash on East 6th Avenue, where police say a driver, after a series of collisions, failed to comply with officers’ commands. The officer shot the man, who died at the scene. The incident is under investigation by the 18th Judicial Critical Incident Response Team, and the officer is on paid administrative leave.
