A 12-year-old girl was arrested in Florida after authorities discovered a notebook containing a list of student names along with threats against them.

On October 17, 2025, deputies took Isabella Galvin into custody at Palatka Junior-Senior High School after finding the notebook in a girls’ bathroom. The notebook included names of students and written threats of harm. The notebook was clearly identified as belonging to Galvin, who admitted it when questioned by deputies.

Galvin was charged with making a written threat to kill, a second-degree felony. She was transported to the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office and subsequently transferred to a Department of Juvenile Justice facility.

According to state law, a juvenile’s name and photo may be publicly released if charged with a felony comparable to an adult offense. The sheriff’s office has indicated it may release this information when threats to students and school safety are involved, as parents and the community have the right to be informed.

The school notified all parents and guardians of students listed in the notebook.
