Dallas police are investigating a fatal shooting and are searching for a suspect.
On January 18, 2026, officers responded to a local hospital after a man arrived in a private vehicle with gunshot injuries. Early findings suggest that 46-year-old Jesse Cisneros was shot by an unknown suspect in the 4000 block of Hammerly Drive at approximately 2:30 p.m. Cisneros succumbed to his injuries on January 19, 2026. No arrests have been made so far.
The investigation remains active.
