An investigation is underway after a person was shot and killed during a disturbance in Garland early Saturday morning.
Officers responded to a disturbance call on the 4200 block of Duck Creek Drive, around 2:30 a.m.
Upon arrival officers located a victim suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to an area hospital with their condition unknown.
Officers later learned that another victim was transported to an area hospital by a private vehicle.
After further investigation officers learned that a disturbance occurred in the parking lot.
One person was pronounced deceased at the hospital. No further details have been released at this time.
This is an ongoing investigation.
