Dallas police are investigating after a SMU student was murdered early Saturday morning.
Officers responded to a shooting call on the intersection of S. Harwood St and Jackson St.
Upon arrival they located Robert Urrea,19 laying on the ground suffering from a gunshot wound.
Once DFR arrived they pronounced the victim dead on the scene.
During the investigation detectives were able to get surveillance footage of the victim and suspect talking. The victim was then seen falling to the ground and then a white 4 door, possibly a Ford with a sunroof and custom wheels fleeing the scene.
This investigation remains ongoing.
