A 3 month old baby died early Tuesday morning after falling into a plastic bag and suffocating.
Officers responded to the 14800 block of Shottery Dr and when they arrived they found a 3 month old baby deceased inside.
Apparently the grandmother was watching the infant, because the mother worked overnight and said she laid the baby down around midnight on the floor.
Another family later put the baby on a mattress in the bedroom and somehow the baby slid off the mattress into a plastic bag.
The infant was pronounced dead at the scene and this investigation is ongoing.
