An 83 year old man is accused of murdering his ex girlfriend earlier this month inside her Rowlett home.
On June 3, around 7 p.m., officers responded to a call regarding an unconscious person on Seafield Lane. Upon arrival they located the victim, 78 year old Sharon Radebaugh, deceased inside the residence.
While investigating authorities learned that 83 year old Wilson Elliot from Trinity County was responsible for the shooting. Apparently, he was upset and confronted Radebaugh about her current relationship.
The argument had escalated when Elliot pulled out a gun and shot his ex. He then fled the scene before officers could arrive.
With the help of the Trinity County Sheriff’s Department, the Texas Rangers and the Rowlett Police Criminal Investigations Division Elliot was arrested and taken into custody.
Elliot was charged with murder and his bond is set at $1,000,000.
