The 15 year old teen shot over the weekend in far south east dallas was a freshman at Seagoville high school.
Brii Jackson was shot and killed just a day after her birthday near her home. Jackson was walking with her 14 year old sister and 10 year old cousin when a young boy walked up and shot her in the chest once. Her sister says she held her sister in her arms as she lay bleeding until help arrived. It is unclear as to how the boy got the gun but witnesses say the two had an argument earlier that day.
Officers arrested the boy later that day and could not release his name because he was a 14 year old juvenile.
