Police in Island Lake, Illinois, are looking for a woman who was captured on recording damaging the lobby of their department on Tuesday morning.
At about 3:41 a.m., the woman had gone to the police department. A recording from the lobby captured her sitting down, turning off the camera, and damaging the inside of the lobby.
She ripped the papers and brochure holders off the wall, and they remained scattered on the ground.
Officials say that it isn’t known why the suspect damaged the lobby. She could have been driving a dark-colored, maybe red or maroon vehicle.
An investigation is still continuing as authorities look for the suspect.
