Authorities Seize Over $2 Million Worth Of Fentanyl In Drug Bust

A fentanyl bust in Forsyth County, North Carolina, was the largest in the county’s history.

Reports indicate that in September 2021, investigators learned that 31-year-old Lakeith Rayvon Lindsay had been distributing narcotics in that county.

Then, on September 2, 2022, authorities were able to get a search warrant on a residence in the 2000 block of Autumn Mist Drive, in Winston-Salem.

There, a drug task force seized $2,665,000 worth of fentanyl.

This resulted in Lindsay being apprehended and charged with felony trafficking, possession, and maintaining. He is also charged with misdemeanor possession and maintaining. He wasn’t granted a bond.

In all, 22 pounds of fentanyl, 2 guns, drug paraphernalia, including a kilo drug press and heat sealer, 3 grams of marijuana, and $4,000 cash were seized.
