Child Killed by Dog Attack in Duncanville

A small child was killed after it was attacked by a dog in Duncanville Tuesday morning.

At around 10:40 am, Duncanville Police responded to a residence in the 1500 block of Limr Leaf Lane for reports of a dog attack. When officers arrived at the scene, they discovered a small child that was unconscious.

Paramedics performed life-saving measures and the child was transported to Children’s Medical Center in Dallas. Shortly after arrival, the child was pronounced deceased.

Duncanville Animal Control has taken the dog and is investigating the incident. If the investigation concludes, criminal charges may be filed.
