A man is in custody facing manslaughter charges after he ran a stop sign and claimed the lives of two individuals.
On Saturday, around 10:40 p.m., on the 2300 block of Centerville Rd when a truck ran a stop sign and struck a vehicle with an 18 year old woman driving.
The woman had a male passenger inside her vehicle that was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency crews and she was transported to an area hospital where she died from her injuries.
The driver of the pickup truck was also transported to a local hospital where he was treated for minor injuries before being booked into Dallas County Jail. He is facing two counts of manslaughter.
