65-year-old Christian Rewoldt has been apprehended after authorities in Mansfield, Texas, discovered child pornography on his electronic devices. They also learned that he had a contractual position with Crowley ISD, as a psychologist, and are working to see if he had any inappropriate contact with students.
Rewoldt has been charged with possession of child pornography, a third-degree felony.
In August, police started investigating Rewoldt after receiving a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
A week after that, the Mansfield SWAT Team executed a search warrant at his residence and are said to have found electronic devices, containing child pornography. They also located a laptop with a Crowley ISD sticker attached to it.
As of now, authorities haven’t found any evidence that Rewoldt had any inappropriate contact with students while being employed at Crowley ISD.
