An investigation is underway after a man was shot following a hit and run crash in Dallas.
On May 30, around 1:30 a.m., officers responded to a shooting call at the QuikTrip on the 5500 S. Buckner Blvd. Upon arriving they found a male victim suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.
During the investigation officers learned that the suspect(s) side swiped the victims vehicle on I-30 near Dolphin Rd. The victim followed the suspects vehicle to a nearby apartment complex.
Thats when the suspect opened fire striking the driver of the other vehicle. The victim was able to drive to a nearby gas station where they waited for police.
No arrest have been made at this time. This remains on an ongoing investigation.
