Deceased Woman Found Inside Home After Early Morning House Fire

A woman was found dead inside a home after an early morning house fire Sunday.
Firefighters responded to a call about a house fire on the 6400 block of Forest Knoll Trail near Polk and Redbird Ln Sunday morning and when they arrived they saw flames coming through the roof of the one storied home.
It took about an hour for fire fighters to get the fire under control and in the process they found an unresponsive woman in the bathroom that was later determined to be dead at the scene by medical examiners.
The cause of the woman’s death and the fire are unknown at this time.
Detectives are still investigating.
