DoorDash Glitch Allowed Users to Receive Orders for Free

3.7kviews

An apparent glitch on the delivery service app, DoorDash, could cost the company hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Many users on TikTok, Twitter, and Instagram claim they were able to get everything for free from DoorDash on Thursday evening.

A glitch on the app allowed users to add a card with no balance or money on it and successfully complete their purchase. With no limit on the amount of orders a user can make, many people took advantage of the situation.

After receiving as many orders as they liked, they’d take to social media and show off their free stuff. A $20,000 Lobster order and 120 bottles of high end tequila are just to name a few.

DoorDash seems to be in major debt with so many orders being unpaid for. In addition to food, DoorDash also offers delivery from retail stores like Sephora, WalMart, Hobby Lobby, etc.

It’s not clear how many orders were made or what the total amount of damage is at this time.

DoorDash has not released a statement regarding the glitch.
