Elderly Pedestrian With Wheelchair Struck By Two Vehicles During Hit And Run In Lewisville

Lewisville police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating two vehicles that struck an elderly pedestrian during a hit and run.
The incident happened on October 12 around 10 p.m. when officers responded to a call on the 300 block of Lake Park Rd., regarding an elderly person with a wheelchair being struck by two vehicles.
Both vehicles appeared to be headed eastbound on Lake Park Rd when they struck the pedestrian. Neither vehicle stopped to render aid.
The pedestrian was transported to a local hospital in serious condition.
Authorities believe the vehicles that struck the pedestrian may live in the nearby apartment complexes.
Anyone with information regarding this hit and run is asked to contact police.
