Parker County Sheriff are investigating a shooting that left a 19 year old boy dead Friday night.
Officers responded to a shooting call on the 9200 block of W. State Hwy 199 in Pooleville and when they arrived they found a young man unresponsive outside of the home.
Emergency crews pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
According to reports the man left his house on foot to meet someone outside and while he was gone he was shot and ran back to his home where he collapsed at the front door.
Family tried reviving the victim but were unsuccessful.
No suspects have been arrested at this time.
This investigation is ongoing.
