Detectives are investigating a shooting at a gas station near SMU that left a man dead Tuesday night.
Officers responded to a shooting call at Shell gas station in the Snider Plaza area on the 7000 block of Snider Plaza around 7pm.
Upon arrival officers found a man suffering from a gunshot wound on the ground.
The victim was transported to an area hospital where he died from his injuries.
During the investigation witnesses told officers the man was pushed out of a truck moments after they heard gunshots.
No description of the suspect(s) has been released at this time.
The investigation remains ongoing.
