Breaking news Texas Governor Greg Abbott has tested positive for COVID-19.
Although Abbott is fully vaccinated he still tested positive.
The vaccine does not prevent a person from getting COVID-19 but it is suppose to reduce the severity of the infection.
Although Governor Abbott has been resting daily and today was the first day that his results came back positive.
He will be isolated in the Governor’s Mansion and continue to test daily.
Abbott is receiving the Regeneron’s monoclonal antibody treatment.
Texas First Lady Cecilia Abbott had tested negative.
