I-20 East In Duncanville Closed Down After Suspect Is Killed During Police Chase

Police shut down an interstate in Duncanville Monday morning after a chase ended deadly.
According to reports a police chase started in Desoto around 5 a.m. Monday morning and ended moments later on I-20 east near the Main St exit.
It was said that the suspect exited his vehicle and tried to flee on foot but was struck by a vehicle on the interstate.
Emergency crews arrived and pronounced the suspect dead on the scene.
Authorities have closed the interstate down while the continue their investigation and have directed traffic towards the service road.
If you can avoid the area and take an alternate route it is urged.
