A man is in custody after stabbing a Kroger employee multiple times in Fort Worth.
On May 1, a little after 12 p.m., officers responded to a stabbing call at a Kroger located on the 9100 block of Camp Bowie W. Blvd.
Upon arriving they found a Kroger employee suffering from multiple stab wounds. She was transported to an area hospital in critical but stable condition.
While investigating officers learned that a man had walked into the store demanding money from one of the cashiers. During that time the suspect then stabbed the woman multiple times before trying to flee the store.
The suspect was arrested by Fort Worth police at the scene.
