A man responsible for a drive by shooting that injured a 4 year old girl Wednesday in Haltom City has been arrested.
Officers say on February 16 that Jesus Vela-Alferez,46 went to a residence on the 3500 block of Eastridge around 3pm.
It is believed that Alferez had business with the injured child’s father and the shooting may have been related.
He opened fire at the residence striking the child. She was injured and taken to an area hospital with non life threatening injuries.
Alferez was arrested inside a Fort Worth home without incident Friday.
He was charged with four counts of deadly conduct and one count of Injury to a child.
