A British man who sexually abused his dog for multiple years and tried to arrange the abuse of children has been placed in jail after he was found guilty of several offenses.
Authorities first found out about Douglas Moore’s behavior when they discovered disturbing footage of a dog being physically and sexually abused. The material was so sickening that senior officers in the Metropolitan Police were called, and a warrant was issued to save the animal and apprehend Moore.
Even though Moore, 34, attempted to get rid of all the evidence on his phone, officers were able to apprehend him in November 2021 while rescuing the dog.
Moore was convicted on 24 charges of different sex offenses. This includes having sex with an animal, possessing extreme pornographic images that showed an act of intercourse, and having oral sex with a dead and an alive animal. Evidence was also discovered that he was attempting to arrange meetings for the abuse of children, and dogs, and he searched the “dark web” to share inappropriate content.
There wasn’t any proof that Moore’s attempts were successful, but he was still charged with posting offensive articles online and for having marijuana.
Moore is now prohibited from possessing an animal and must register as a sex offender.
