A man was arrested Thursday after returning to a murder scene to retrieve a cellphone.
Officers responded to a shooting around 1:30am near Capitol and Clifton St.
Upon arrival officers found an unidentified man deceased from a gunshot wound to the face.
Officers also retrieved a cellphone from the scene and while investigating the suspect, Tyrunte Spann returned to the scene to retrieve it.
He was arrested and charged with murder.
The motive for the shooting is still unknown at this time.
