Dallas police are investigating a shooting/ robbery that left a man dead Wednesday afternoon.
Officers responded to a shooting call on the 5200 block of S. Lamar St and when they arrived they found Brian Harp,53 suffering from gunshot wounds.
The victim was transported to a nearby hospital where he later died at the hospital.
Police later found out that the restaurant had recently opened and they were getting ready for their lunch crowd when the suspects entered the restaurant with masks on.
Harp told his cook to go hide inside a storage closet and soon as she did the suspects entered the restaurant and opened fire striking Harp.
They then fled the scene before officers could arrive.
