Man Rescued At White Rock Creek At The Bottom Of 60 Foot Embankment

On Wednesday morning, the Dallas-Fire rescue team had to save a man from a creek.

At about 5:30 am, someone contacted authorities because they heard a man screaming for assistant close to Whistle Stop Place.

A man had been discovered at the bottom of a 50-60 foot embankment on the Jackson Branch of White Rock Creek.

Emergency crews placed the man on a backboard and were able to retrieve him from the embankment.

The man was said to have experienced non-life threatening wounds to his lower body and was transported to a medical facility for any evaluation.

It isn’t known how the man wound up at the bottom of the embankment.
