On August 5, 2023, Dallas police responded to a shooting call on the 2000 block of Vine Lane.
Upon arrival they found the victim, 36 year old Hector Barrios Verdugo, suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to an area hospital where he died from his injuries.
Authorities said there was a disturbance at the location that escalated into gunfire, around 11:30 p.m.
The suspect still remains at large.
