As reported by KHOU-11, several Pecan Grove residents, in Sugarland, Texas, have reported getting their delivery packages stolen from their porches.
One of the victims, a woman who wished to remain anonymous, had packages on her porch for customers of hers to come pick up. However, the box, which contained shirts, was stolen from her doorstep.
After checking her surveillance footage, the woman realized she had a clear description of the thief and took the information to the authorities.
In the footage, a man wearing an Amazon vest can be seen checking the boxes and taking the ones he pleases.
As revenge, the woman put her kids’ diapers in a box, making it look like a decent package, and set it outside. To her amusement, the same thief returned and stole the diapers, thinking it was a good package.
On Tuesday, Sugarland PD arrested a man who they believe is the primary suspect in the case. According to police, the man was in the same vehicle at the time of the arrest and there was incriminating evidence inside.
His identity has not been released at this time, pending an investigation.
