Jame Burns kidnapped her grandchildren; 9-year-old Jessica Burns and 6-year-old Jennifer Burns from a McKinney CiCi’s Pizza during a supervised visit with CPS.
The 60-year-old grandma pleaded guilty to a kidnapping charge for the January 19 incident. She was then sentenced to 5 years in prison this week.
Authorities say her son, Justin Burns, also the father of the children, was involved in the crime and is currently facing kidnapping charges.
