Minnesota Timberwolves Forward, Taurean Waller-Prince, Arrested At Miami International Airport

The Minnesota Timberwolves forward, Taurean Waller-Prince, was arrested Thursday night at the Miami International Airport.

According to reports, 28 year old Waller-Prince was arrested because of an outstanding warrant out of Texas. He is currently being held in Miami Dade Jail awaiting extradition.

Details regarding his charges have not been released at this time.

Waller-Prince was born and raised in San Antonio and played college ball for Baylor University. He was drafted to the NBA in 2016 by the Utah Jazz and later played for the Atlanta Hawks, Brooklyn Nets and Cleveland Cavaliers.

He signed with minnesota in 2021 and just recently signed a 2 year, $16 million deal this off season.
