A second body was found on Tuesday in Bridger-Teton National Forest close to the national park. The search for Gabby Petito helped with this discovery.
The remains that were discovered closely matched that of Robert “Bob” Lowery, 46. He was from Texas and had been missing for over 30 days.
The dad of two was last seen alive on August 20th on the Black Canyon Trail in the national forest.
The body was located after a new tip was given about his last places visited and what he had on.
It has been said that the Gabby Petito case led to more emphasis of the Lowery case. Her body was found on September 19th after spending time in this same location with her boyfriend.
Officials don’t believe the two cases are connected.
Lowery’s relatives are still waiting for more information, as his cause of death is still unclear.
