Mother Charged After 3-Year-Old Daughter Was Raped And Killed After She Sold Her For Crack Cocaine
Authorities have said that Luz Maida, 3, was forced into the arms of an unfamiliar man in the middle of the night and didn’t know what was happening.
The child had just been sold by her mother, 42-year-old Aurelia Salinas, to her boyfriend who is a drug-dealer.
Salinas is accused of giving the girl up for 30 pieces of crack cocaine, adding up to about $12, in Pedro Juan Caballero, Paraguay, last week.
A recording shows the little girl attempting to free herself of her captor. She could be seen with a blue dress on as a man carries her across his shoulders. He then struck her to try to keep her from moving around.
Almost 24 hours later, the girl’s body was found in an abandoned residence after being raped and killed. Reports indicate that the child was suffocated.
People in the community expressed their outrage, and some attempted to lynch her after she admitted to her role in her daughter’s killing. She had first told authorities that her daughter disappeared while asleep. However, after police had retrieved a surveillance recording, she confessed to selling the girl for crack cocaine.
Her boyfriend later admitted to the killing.
The mother, her boyfriend, and a 17-year-old, who is believed to have had some involvement, were all apprehended.
After the child’s funeral, community members burned down the house where the girl’s body was found.
Detectives say that this isn’t the first tragedy that has occurred in that family. The mother of eight is also accused of letting her 12-year-old daughter be sexually assaulted by a 30-year-old male.
Both matters are currently under investigation.
This is sick. Selling your child for crack is so f***ing messed up. This is your baby who I guess chose to bring into this world to only sell her for crack for her on pleasure. There’s woman out here would have loved to have a child but can’t but we have these woman giving birth to children and could give 2 f***s about them. She sold her child come on things need to change. People don’t bring children in this world if you can’t be the mothers these child so desperately need. That’s why people should be able to have abortions because of people like this bringing children into a world to only mistreat or have them killed by the hands of someone that was suppose to love then unconditionally.
