Naked Man With Machete Arrested After Approaching A Man At A Gas Station And Trying To Steal His Clothes
A naked Florida man was arrested Monday after he threw a machete at a man and demanded his clothing at a gas station.
According to reports, 38 year old Brandon Wright was spotted at the Volusia County Fairground a little before 10 a.m. carrying a machete and picking palmetto berries while being completely naked.
Apparently Wright approached a man and demanded his clothes, wallet and phone while waving his machete.
As the man tried to comply he was struck in the chest with the handle of the machete.
Luckily no one was injured.
Wright then ran from the scene into some bushes and jumped into a white Dodge Challenger.
A responding officer noticed Wright’s description from a previous incident. He was later spotted outside a DeLand gas station.
Wright was naked and harassing drivers while performing push ups.
He was eventually arrested without incident and charged with attempted robbery with a deadly weapon, aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
