Passenger Exits Vehicle After Crash and is Fatally Hit in Richardson

A passenger was struck and killed on N. Central Expressway in Richardson after exiting a vehicle that became disabled.

According to the Richardson Police Department, early Monday morning at 1:15 a.m., a Lexus sedan was traveling northbound on the expressway when it crashed into the center concrete divider. The two occupants of the Lexus, the driver and passenger, both exited the vehicle which had become disabled.

A Honda sedan also traveling northbound, crashed into the Lexus, causing it to spin and strike the passenger who was on the road.

The passenger, 32-year-old Abed-Isaac Pierre from Florida, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The driver of the Lexus and the driver of the Honda were both transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
