An investigation is underway after a person was shot during a carjacking Thursday morning.
Dallas officers responded to a shooting call around 9 a.m. on Stoneport Drive. When they arrived they found a person on the ground suffering from a gunshot wound.
The victim was transported to an area hospital with their condition unknown.
During the investigation officers learned that the suspect took the victims car before shooting him and fleeing the scene.
No arrest have been made.
