Michael Lawrence Tyler a New Orleans native and rapper who goes by Mystikal is facing rape charges from 2016.
The rapper was charged with raping a woman back in 2016 during his “Southern Hip Hop” tour. A warrant was put out for the rappers arrest as well as another rapper by the name of Averweone Holman and a woman by the name of Tenichia Wafford who allegedly were involved in the raping and trying to convince the woman to drop the charges.
According to Shreveport Police Department Tyler turned himself in Monday afternoon to Caddo Correctional Center where he was charged and given a bond of 2 million dollars. Holman was also arrested and taken into custody and given a 2 million dollar bond for the rape and Wafford a $200,000 bond for accessory to the fact.
Although Mystikal is claiming his innocent this is not his first incident involving sexual assault.
