Rockwall police along with the Texas Rangers arrested three people on child pornography related charges on Tuesday and Wednesday.
The first arrest was on February 23 when officers executed a search warrant on the 3000 block of Preston Court after they received information from the Department of Homeland Security that an individual at that address had trafficked in images of child sexual abuse material.
After thorough investigation officers identified Geoffrey Ehlert,42 and he was arrested without incident.
He is currently being held in Rockwall County jail on charges of Possession of Child Pornography and Possession of Marijuana. His bond is set at $60,750.
They also made another arrest Tuesday morning on the 1000 block of Signal Ridge after receiving a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that an individual at that address had downloaded several images of child sexual abuse material from the internet.
During investigation officers learned that Daylon Tippens,19 was the person that downloaded the images and he was arrested and charged with possession of child pornography. No bond has been set at this time.
On Wednesday officers executed a search warrant on the 500 block of Big Oak after detectives received information from the Collin County Sheriff’s Office Child Exploitation Unit and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that an individual at that address had trafficked in images related to child sexual abuse via the internet.
During investigation officers learned that Donald Nega,47 downloaded and possessed the questioned images.
He was arrested from the residence without incident and charged with Possession of Child Pornography and Tampering with Evidence.
Rockwall police say these are all separate cases and they are still under investigation.
