Shooting Inside Pappadeaux’s Restaurant During Fat Tuesday

An altercation broke out inside of Pappadeauxs on Cockrell Hill and 67.
Witnesses say two men exchanged words at the bar and then one man ran outside, grabbed a gun and came back in the restaurant and shot the other man in his back and head before running out of the restaurant and hopping in the car with a female and driving off. The suspect has not been identified nor captured.
We do not have information on the condition of the victim and will update you as this story evolves.
This shooting is currently under investigation.
