On March 25, Dallas police responded to a shooting call on the 2300 block of Highland Rd, around 3 p.m.
When officers arrived they found the victim, 36 year old Erick Lopez, in the parking lot suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
The suspect fled before officers could arrive and no arrest have been made.
This is an ongoing investigation.
