A Southwest airline employee was verbally and physically attacked by a passenger and had to be transported to a nearby hospital.
The incident transpired Saturday at Love Field Airport when Arielle Jean Jackson,32 was boarding her flight to LaGuardia Airport from Dallas.
According to authorities, Jackson got into a verbal argument with one of the Southwest employees shorty after boarding.
She was then asked to get off the aircraft.
While exiting, Jackson had another altercation with a different attendant. She then struck the attendant in the head with a closed fist.
The employee was taken to a local hospital and released. She is home resting now.
As for Jackson she is being charged with aggravated assault causing serious bodily injury.
She is being held in Dallas County on a $10,000 bond.
