Suspect Arrested In The Shooting Death Of Two People At Greenville Party

Hunts County Sheriffs have arrested and charged a man with two counts of capital murder that they believed shot up a party in Greenville Saturday night.
Authorities arrested Brandon Gonzales,23 Monday at at a car dealership where he was working as a mechanic.
Officers say they received several tips that Gonzales was the shooter but one of the deceased victims brothers said he’s almost certain that they have the wrong suspect in custody and that Gonzales is innocent.
He admitted to police that he was at the party but denied having a weapon or shooting anyone.
He was taken into custody and has been charged with two counts of capital murder and remains in custody on a bond of 1 million.
Kevin Berry Jr,23 of Dallas and Byron Craven Jr,23 of Arlington were both killed Saturday night and 6 others were shot and four others were injured while trying to get to safety.
This shooting is still under investigation.
