On September 12th, 30 year old rapper Rakim Allen aka PnB Rock was robbed and fatally shot at the Treasure restaurant on Manchester avenue. He was rushed to a nearby hospital where he died from his injuries.
It was stated by California authorities that a 17 year old boy, whose name will not be released, his father Freddie Lee Trone, and his 32-year-old stepmother Shauntel Trone, were all arrested for the brutal murder.
The robbery happened in broad daylight at Roscoe’s Chicken and Waffles in South Los Angeles. Investigators believe that the 17 year old boy approached the rapper and his girlfriend, demanding they hand over all their possessions and then proceeded to shoot him. He shot the rapper multiple times in front of his girlfriend, customers and employees.
The 17-year-old boy was apprehended in Lawndale on a murder charge. It was also stated that he was out on parole or probation at the time. He was wearing an ankle monitor that ‘was not being monitored at the time of the fatal shooting’.
