Texas Man Sentenced After Beating Girlfriend’s 11-Month-Old Daughter’s Skull In As She Interrupted His Video Games

25-year-old Bryce Ceaser has been sentenced to 25-30 years in prison for killing his girlfriend’s 11-month-old daughter. Officials say he committed the act because the baby interrupted him as he was playing video games.
On December 3, 2021, the mother had gone to work and left the child with Ceaser, of Beaumont, Texas, who was unemployed.
He is said to have beat in the baby’s skull and was charged with Aggravated Assault Causing Serious Bodily Injury and Injury to a Child. It isn’t clear why he wasn’t facing murder charges.
When he is freed, Ceaser won’t be able to own a firearm. Additionally, he will be eligible for parole after 15 years.
