Three Men Placed In Custody For Gym Attack Of Rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine

Last week, rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine was said to have been assaulted at a gym in Florida.

Now, three men have been apprehended in relation to the attack. 23-year-old Octavious Medina, 25-year-old Anthony Maldonado, and 43-year-old Rafael Medina Jr., were all placed in custody in Palm Beach County. They are facing charges for robbing and attacking the rapper whose birth name is Daniel Hernandez.

Medina and Maldonado also face an additional charge of felony battery.

The incident occurred as the 26-year-old rapper was relaxing in a sauna at an LA Fitness on March 21. His attorney says that a group of men then came up to the rapper and attacked him. He added that bruises and cuts were sustained during the occurrence.

His lawyer added that the rapper attempted to defend himself, and the assailants ran away once a worker heard the commotion.

A recording from the gym depicts Tekashi walking through the gym with blood all over his face.

Furthermore, authorities became involved in the matter after receiving information that the rapper was transported to a medical facility with minor injuries.
