Two Male Suspects Arrested In Dallas And Charged With Cameron Ray’s Murder

Two men were arrested in connection to the March shooting death of 20 year old Cameron Ray.

The incident occurred on March 16, when officers responded to a shooting call, around 2:00 a.m., on the 3600 block of Greenville Avenue.

Upon arrival officers found the victim, Cameron Ray, 20 suffering from gunshot wounds. Dallas Fire and Rescue transported him to an area hospital where he later died from his injuries.

During the investigation officers determined that two groups, one including Ray the other including the suspect had a physical altercation. The fight lasted at least 2 minutes before it was broken up.

The suspects got into a black suv that was parked near a curb. Ray and a group of friends were walking east on Martel Avenue when the suspects drove by and opened fire striking Ray.

After thorough investigation, officers identified the shooters as 28 year old Aries Jones and 21 year old Tivione English.

They were both arrested and taken to Dallas County Jail and charged with murder. Jone’s bond was set at $250,000. English has no bond.
