Two Men Arrested And Charged With Capital Murder In Connection With Deadly Shooting In McKinney


Two men have been arrested and are facing capital murder charges after a man was shot and killed in McKinney over the weekend.

On April 28, around 2 p.m., McKinney police responded to a shooting call at the intersection of N. Jordan Road and Woodberry Lane. Upon arriving they noticed a male inside of a vehicle suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

McKinney SWAT later arrested 24 year old Donte Tyrone Murry, Jr. and 33 year old Antwon Hamilton. Authorities believe Murry to be the suspected shooter and believe Hamilton assisted him with the murder.

Both men were charged with capital murder.

No further details regarding this shooting have been released at this time. This is an ongoing investigation.
