Early Saturday morning, around 1:50 a.m., four teens were involved in a fatal car crash in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Two of them lost their lives.
Officers were called to the wreck between a 2022 Tesla and a semi-truck near Interstate 20/59. Authorities say that the Tesla was trapped below the truck’s trailer, and four people were stuck inside.
The driver that was killed has been identified as 17-year-old Madison Sims, and a passenger that also died was identified as 18-year-old Samuel Brown. They had just attended prom together that night.
A 17-year-old girl and an 18-year-old girl were transported to a hospital with serious and minor injuries, respectively.
An investigation is ongoing.
